Squalane is a stable, hydrogenated form of squalene, a lipid that occurs naturally in human sebum. In skincare it is used primarily as an emollient, helping skin feel softer, smoother and more supple.
Its light, silky texture provides conditioning without the heaviness of some richer oils. It also helps support the skin's surface lipids and reduce moisture loss.
Our squalane is plant-derived.
